The lights are too bright,
The music is too loud,
It’s cold every night,
As snow falls from a cloud.
Why don’t I like this?
Oh well, I suppose,
It’s supposed to bring bliss,
But I want rid of all those:
The shops with their sales,
The buyers are in a rush,
Or the retelling of tales,
As they trudge through the slush.
Christmas is a waste of money,
Everyone buys useless gifts,
Seriously, everyone acts funny,
Who would want cuffs for wrists?
In conclusion; I hate Christmas.
We should tear down every tree.
I wish it were summer so I could play discus.
I don’t care if there’s a present for me.
You see, Mr Santa Claus,
Last year I asked for a didgeridoo
However, your system must have flaws,
Since I didn’t get it, I don’t believe in you.
I know that you are a busy man,
But could you try to review your lists?
Next time you should have a good plan
I could help you, I insist!
I hope you are well,
And your reindeer too,
Thanks for being you, you are swell!
I really can’t wait for that didgeridoo.
Sincerely, Alexander.
